Description

Join us in taking the world towards 100% renewable energy

Sumitomo SHI FW (SFW) and Highview Power initiated a partnership to enable 100% renewable energy future in the world through collaboration in providing Highview’s Liquified Air Energy Storage (LAES) technology, the “CRYObattery”, globally. Highview Power is an original designer and developer of a proprietary CRYOBattery, a technology that delivers reliable and cost-effective long-duration energy storage. Its technology uses liquid air as the storage medium and can deliver anywhere from 20 MW/80 MWh to more than 200 MW/1.2 GWh of energy. This award-winning technology has been dubbed as “the missing link” to making renewable green energy sources a more resilient, reliable and cost-effective option when compared with traditional carbon alternatives.

Sumitomo SHI FW (SFW) is a global, innovative provider of energy and environmental technologies and services focusing on high efficiency and flexible generation of energy. SFW will now become the technology and business center for the liquified air storage, and, together with Highview Power, sell and execute CRYOBattery projects around the globe.
