The Education and Enterprise Technologies Admin Tools team is looking for a committed, highly competent engineer who is excited to join us to enhance existing apps (Apple Configurator 2, Apple Remote Desktop, macOS Server) and build new iOS and macOS apps and technologies that help schools, businesses, and users manage all of their Apple devices.
- Strong programming skills in C, Objective-C, Swift, or similar languages

The apps for which the Admin Tools team is responsible are often the face of the entire Apple ecosystem to our education and enterprise customers, which gives us a lot of insight into what they need and challenges us to drive solutions across the company. We create, enhance, and preserve across new OS releases key workflows in tools which enable organizations large and small to easily and confidently prepare and run lots of Apple devices for their users. Because of Apple's unwavering commitment to user privacy and security, doing so while preserving critical device management features is often a challenge that requires creativity and drives innovation. That means that every engineer on our team can have an enormous impact on the products we ship and is where you come in. As an engineer on the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new features; fixing bugs in existing features; participating in architecture and code reviews; helping to prioritize features and bug fixes; working collaboratively with multi-functional teams at Apple; and leading in the pursuit and delivery of the best possible product. Your work will involve everything from high-level UI development to working at different levels of the stack in order to pull off results-oriented features. You should feel comfortable moving fluidly from network programming to framework and application development. You'll be maintaining and improving not just our apps, but also their supporting frameworks and system services. You'll also be responsible for debugging and delivering the best possible application performance and adopting the best testing practices to help you find and fix bugs early. You will work with other creative and passionate team members as you collaborate with them on their proposed software implementations. BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
