A full time technical position and often independent, specializing in Geographic Information Systems (GIS); collects, maintains, upgrades, and manipulates data in an evolving GIS integral to the Tribe's resource management including realty, land use, natural resources, wildlife, hydrology, municipal, planning, and related fields; assists with network administration and system security; conducts raster, vector, and tabular analysis. Coordinates land survey contracts and land use reviews of projects.  Creates maps, graphs, and queries using GIS software, techniques, and related equipment.  Gather, analyze, and integrate spatial data and determine practical solutions and display.  Edits and creates various map layers, features and files.  Operates UAV and GPS devices for data collection and mapping.  Pay up to $56,200/yr DOQ with 401k, full medical, paid sick/vac. training, etc.  Willing to negotiate flexible schedule. Questions email: dave.herda@makah.com.
