This role develops, drives, and communicates the Industry and OEMs strategy for Americas aligned with the Company's global strategy to bring The Connected Enterprise to Life...

The Director will assure continued growth rate increasing market share on DiscreteProcess and Hybrid Industries whilst identifying further growth opportunities including identification of future technology trends both within the existing customer base as well as in segments that align with Rockwell Automation overall market positioning. In the OEM Director capacity, the director will be responsible for delivering sales growth through a defined disciplined sales process, leveraging the full capabilities of Rockwell Automation business units, sales organization, and channel partners as appropriate

This position is responsible to develop and drive the Rockwell Automation digital transformation value proposition OEMs and focus industries leading the adoption of software, connected services, consulting, solution and annuity business model by the customers. Responsibilities will also include providing the necessary leadership essential to grow the business including market analysis, account planning, and marketing within the OEMs and focus industries business. 


  • Bachelor's degree

  • 12+ years' experience in sales, marketing or operations

  • 5+ years in the industry of multi-billion-dollar, global customer or services provider

  • Previous global sales experience is preferred

  • Industry-led and customer-centered strategic solution mindset

  • Knowledge of technology, solutions, and services in Automation market. IT/OT convergence as well consulting experience is appreciated.

  • Strong understanding of various channels to market and how each one operates

  • Ability to work with and gain confidence of senior leadership level (internal and external) in a highly collaborative, matrixed stakeholder organization

  • Strong strategy focus with continuous improvement mind-set

  • Resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways

  • Strategy development and execution

  • Exhibiting highest level of integrity, exceptional judgement and bias for action

  • Aligning and influencing critical stakeholders

  • creativity and innovation

  • Ability to travel greater than 50% of time.
