Job Description
This is a 1st Shift role (M-F, 7a - 330p), in the SSB government department with a starting rate of $18.84 per hour.
Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications and workmanship standards.
RESPONSIBLITIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Uses mechanical and electrical drawings in addition to other required support documents to assemble and wire; requiring judgment to propose solutions while maintaining workmanship standards on moderately difficult assignments. May include expertise in one department or application of knowledge across multiple assembly functions.
