Essential Functions

  • Designs, writes and develops workflows, support programs and applications.

  • Maintains and revises existing applications, workflows and application components.

  • Administers and advises on the design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of a SharePoint platform for an organization.

  • Collects user requirements; and directs the SharePoint configuration, design, redesign, installation, migration, and maintenance processes associated with databases and resources.

  • Manages the SharePoint servers; troubleshoots and fixes server issues; and ensures the platform is updated.

  • Plans and designs application infrastructure; collaborates with developers; and coordinates with infrastructure teams for server, storage, and network setup.

  • Configures connectivity services for connecting to a database or service, and configures service applications.

  • Creates and maintains a content database; and compresses and maintains various logging databases.

  • Create security groups, assigns proper access for site users, configures anonymous access if required, and administer changes for users.

  • Reviews accounts, Internet sites and files, and the server's usage and activity to see how the system is being used, and determines what changes need to be made in order to make it more efficient.

  • Sets policies for, tests, and validates backup and restoration programs.

  • Develops and enforces ownership of applications and sites with stakeholders, and promotes adoption by users.

  • Trains and supports users in the SharePoint sites, and explains effects of designs and changes to users.

  • Troubleshoots and debugs applications and application components.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and clients to define, design and deploy applications and enhancements that meet the needs of the company, its clients, and end users.

  • Configures a design that satisfies business requirements and desired specifications, including performance and security requirements.

  • Researches, evaluates and implements new technology to optimize application efficiency, reliability and usability.

  • Maintains records to document technical and functional developments and revisions as well as document libraries and site collections.


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Sharepoint, Power Aps, K2, Power Bl, Azure, and SQL. EDI experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • On-site presence required.
