Duties include meeting and assisting members and
electricians with electrical projects, designing and staking
electric distribution lines for road moves, work plan, etc.;
prepare work orders, actively participate in joint-use,
easements and permits; submit Gopher State One Call
locates, participate in outage dispatching and birddogging,
involved in the pole testing program, and work in current
mapping and staking software. Candidate is self motivated
and has excellent communication skills. This position reports
directly to the GIS/Staking Supervisor. The ideal candidate
will have competency in Microsoft Office and other computer
knowledge. Field experience with Rural Utility Service
construction practices, and anAssociate degree in Powerline
Electrical Technology or equivalent experience is preferred.
