The Colville Confederated Tribes Public Safety Division is recruiting for the following positions:

Law Enforcement Officer- $25.29 - $29.27 – DOE
Corrections Officer- $20.80 – $24.08 DOE

 High School Diploma or GED

Must be 18 years of age for Corrections Officer

 Must be 21 years of age for Law Enforcement Officer

BASIC FUNCTIONS: Colville Tribal Police Officers perform a variety of law enforcement tasks including routine investigations of crimes, citizen calls for service, testifying in court, security, and traffic control services. Colville Tribal Police Officers are also encouraged to develop expertise in specialized areas of law enforcement which can be used for investigations, trainings, and assisting other agencies. Colville Tribal Police Officers will possess, Tribal, State and possibly Federal commissions.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:  This is a Non-Exempt position. Incumbent of this position will plan, supervises, and coordinate support services for Tribal Corrections. Incumbent will plan, organize, prioritize and supervise inmates, records, data entry, and transport inmates. Incumbent will provide administrative and Correctional Officer support to Tribal Corrections.

The traditional territories of the Colville Tribes extends across eastern Washington and into portions of British Columbia, Oregon and Idaho. This expanse covered approximately 39 million acres as the homeland of the Lakes, Colville, Okanogan, Moses-Columbia, Wenatchi, Entiat, Chelan, Methow, Nespelem, Sanpoil, Chief Joseph Band of Nez Perce and Palus Indians.
