Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years Engineering experience
  • BS Engineering/Management preferred/Minimum A.S. Degree
  • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
  • Must have Electro/Mechanical experience
  • Must be knowledgeable in electrical, wiring, plumbing and all aspects of mechanical details
  • Back Safety, Materials Handling Safety, Hazardous Material Safety Training, ISO Training
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills including using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience using Microsoft Office program

Principle Job Duties

  • Plan, coordinate, develop and implement assigned work that will improve equipment
  • Implement special projects that recommends solutions to assigned issues
  • Develop, plan and implement various projects and programs, goals and objectives to improve machine efficiency, productivity and reduce downtime
  • Act as a liaison between departments and employees
  • Serve as a team leader on special projects
  • Able to interpret and apply rules and regulations, both orally and written and work cooperatively with diverse groups
  • Work effectively with outside vendors and agencies to improve existing equipment
  • Plan, organize, and direct staff on preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities
  • Inspect and evaluate physical, mechanical and electrical components of buildings, facilities and equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions
  • Insure compliance with fire, life and safety codes and regulations
  • Supervise input and update work order procedures and implement into production
  • Monitor heating, air conditioning, water pressure, fire system and electrical power consumption
  • Knowledge of Safety and OSHA rules and regulations
