expertise, has an opportunity at their state of the art, advanced airlaid
production facility located in Fort Smith, AR..
Role: Leads a production shift, including quality, training & safety
of personnel, maintenance of equipment, keeping records & reports,
receiving shipments of raw materials, & housekeeping duties. Solely
responsible for line & plant operations during night & weekend shifts
supervising all plant employees, including maintenance & logistics.
Manages airlaid fabrication understanding production requirements
and KPIs meeting
Production & budget objectives.
Knowledgeable operating production equipment.
Directs activities & scheduling, safely maintaining production rates.
Ensures 1st grade quality production.
Reports shift operations & transitions information w leadership.
Prepares shift reports & identifies problems occurring during the
shift sharing with other leaders for followup.
Makes recommendations for improvements to achieve maximum
Human Resource Management:
Trains personnel for maximum safe operation with 1st grade quality.
Leads 6S activities maintaining departmental order.
Controls absenteeism maintaining a productive operation team.
Promotes and maintains good Company-Employee relations.
Environmental, Health & Safety:
Leads team safety meetings highlighting potential risks, always
maintaining safe working
Promotes and supports Glatfelters Environmental Health & Safety
Ensures engagement with Glatfelter Safety Rules and Regulations.
Quality, Scheduling & Maintenance:
Supports leadership maintaining production schedules in
cooperation w customer needs.
Reports and assists w preventive maintenance team scheduling downtime.
Ensures problem resolution.
Work with Scheduling ensuring optimal product change-up efficiency.
Ensures Quality mind set within the operations team. Follows up
with Quality nonconformities.
