FULL / PART-TIME POLICE OFFICER

Homestead Borough. Allegheny County, PA

Qualified persons are invited to apply to the Homestead Borough Civil Service Commission to take competitive examinations leading to eligibility for appointment as Full Time or Part Time patrolman for the Homestead Borough Police Department.

General Requirements:

Us citizen, High School Diploma or equivalency certificate

21 years of age and be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties

In addition, applicants must have successfully completed Act 120 training, as prescribed by the Police Officers’ Education and Training Commission: possess a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle License, and other qualifications as provided for in the Borough’s Civil Service Rules and Regulations

Benefits: Part Time starting wage of $17.73/Hour

An application form and details of the selection process may be obtained at the Borough Building, located at 221 East 7 th Ave, Homestead, PA 15120, between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. A completed application, no fee, must be filled with the Civil Service Commission by 3:00pm Tuesday, March 9, 2021. The test will be held at 10am March 10,2021
