We are recruiting a dynamic, energetic and motivated individual to join the Infrastructure Services Business Operations - Global Purchasing Operations (GPOPs) team. The Purchasing Operations Vendor Management team is responsible for approximately 80% of Apple Data Center hardware operational management and fulfillment operations within Infrastructure Services. This team drives execution of the order process, maintaining precision throughout DC operations, and data integrity within central databases. Senior Vendor Management Analysts ensure Apple infrastructure purchase requisitions are initiated promptly and with precision to target on-time delivery to deployment needs. Cross-functional engagements with teams such as logistics and finance are critical to the ongoing performance. Senior Vendor Management Analysts are responsible for the fulfillment of orders to support the continual growth and performance of Apple's growing infrastructure and services businesses. This team works collaboratively to secure operational excellence across the regions, use insight and analytics to improve the supply chain process and develop innovative fulfillment strategies.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Supply Chain, Vendor Management or related field experience
  • Passion for operations and relevant experience with multiple procurement roles and policies
  • Experience working with off-shore manufacturers
  • Detailed knowledge of supply chain and logistics
  • Data center, technical and OEM management experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of corporate ERP systems and process, SAP background preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, process engineering or product development
  • Comfortable working autonomously and with remote leadership
  • Advanced experience in Excel v-lookup formula, pivot tables and reports
  • Demonstrate ability to build relationships
  • Good interpersonal skills with clear, concise, written, and verbal communication
  • Enthusiastic and self motivated
  • Capable of maintaining a high level of detail while running several work-streams


In this role you will support the important metric and QBR analytics to drive vendor performance against a growing portfolio of hardware vendors. This person will apply data analysis and process mapping to drive the optimal fulfillment activities from order induction through delivery and post delivery support. Responsibilities will include: Assess and mitigate risks to the business. Lead global supply chain disruptions in real time with the support of an international team. Collaborate across the Apple organization to ensure business objectives are met. Includes rapidly synthesizing and communicating findings to senior leaders and to actively identify potential supply issues that can affect product strategy. Manage correlation of data inputs to the acquisition of assets into internal database tools. Develop written plans, policies, and procedures to document processes supporting the purchasing of assets. Influence our procurement signal by working cross functionally to commit to a responsible and responsive supply chain that is optimized for lowest costs, greater operational flexibility, regional fulfillment and highest quality of delivery. Participate with internal business expansion and automation projects. Act as a key shareholder in developing automated solutions and testing that these solutions are fit for purpose. Optimize performance through cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking. Develop an in-depth understanding of valuable manufacturing processes and costs, reverse logistics, and market intelligence, and apply this knowledge to influence Apple's future product roadmap and sourcing decisions. Handle inbound inquiries and multi-functional communication.

Education & Experience

Degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain or Procurement field
