The Domestic Violence Case Manager plays a key role in developing and implementing the delivery of specialized case management services to community members who are survivors of domestic violence with a focus on serving immigrants. This position develops and implements strategies to advocate for underserved populations, particularly immigrant survivors, and assists and accompanies them in navigating systems. This position provides?case management services to?residential and community-based?clients?of the Domestic Violence Program of YWCA Evanston/North Shore with a deep commitment to creating a warm, welcoming, and trauma-informed space for all.?



High School Degree or equivalent required
Bachelors of Arts in Counseling, Social Work, or other related fields preferred
Experience and/or Training

Must have experience delivering case management services to survivors of trauma
Proficiency in Spanish required fluent spoken and written Spanish preferred
At least 2 years’ experience working with domestic violence survivors favored
Experience working with immigrants and other marginalized populations
Knowledge of resources beneficial to immigrants regardless of status

Successful completion of Illinois 40-Hour Domestic Violence Training within 60 days of start required
Successful completion of ICDVP exam within 12 months of start required
Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle for business use and auto insurance needed and essential
Completed 40-Hour Illinois domestic Violence Training preferred
ICDVP Certification preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with virtual services technology and case management software a plus
