Administrative Assistant Morningside College is looking for a qualified individual to fill the full time Administrative Assistant position in the School of Visual and Performing Arts. This individual will support the daily operations of the department assisting faculty & administration by performing organizational and clerical support. Responsibilities: Coordinates communications such as answering phones, monitoring unit email and welcoming visitors to the department as well as promoting concerts and productions Provides clerical support such as word processing, formatting documents, scheduling meetings, & taking minutes for meetings Assists in the organization & preparation of materials/information for the department & advisory committee meetings Manages/schedules federal work study student workers in eppley Stage Crew Supports program creation for recitals, concerts, productions, events Supports processing requests for general student recitals & degree recitals Collaborates on special projects Gathers data to track student progress & eligibility for continuation in Music & Art Qualifications/Professionalism: Bachelor's degree preferred Ability to learn national accreditation standards Extensive organizational, communication, & computer skills Positively interacts & treats all people courteously & respectfully Respects confidentiality Displays a positive attitude & enthusiasm towards job/workplace Please submit a cover letter, resume & three professional references to: employment@morningside.edu
