Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst I is a direct report to the FP&A Manager, Lifecycle Services North America (LFS NA). The Sr. Financial Analyst will work closely with the Regional Business Directors, Regional Services & Solutions Directors, and the LFS NA Finance team to lead the orders forecasting process for the $800M+ business. The candidate will also have the opportunity to perform in-depth financial analysis of the consolidated results for the North America Services and Solutions businesses, provide insights to management, as well as improve processes. The role will require the ability to work collaboratively with business management/staff, sales, Global and NA LFS Finance and Global Analytics & Insights to support the overall LFS NA organization. Ideal candidates for this role will have a proven track record of success in supporting business partners, strong financial acumen and self-motivation to drive issue resolution, and excellent communication skills.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with Regional Business Directors, LFS Finance, and Global Analytics & Insights to summarize and communicate meaningful financial information to management through completion of the monthly and quarterly reporting packages for LFS NA results
  • Ownership of the LFS NA orders forecasting process, including leading subregional orders calls between the sales, business, and finance organizations to develop the forecast, outlook and related risks and opportunities
  • Ensuring predictability of results by driving effective Annual Operating Plan and quarterly forecasting processes for LFS NA
  • Subject matter expert for the Assurance and Integrated Service Agreement offerings for the Services Finance organization, including the related revenue annual plan and forecasts
  • Monthly cost center analysis for the NA Solutions Commercial Organization and NA Services Headquarters
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests
  • Supervising and mentoring the LFS NA Finance summer intern
  • Learn and adapt to changing processes, financial systems, and internal customer needs
  • Desire and ability to take on new responsibilities; requires strong self-initiative to continually expand knowledge, improve processes, and streamline activities of the business units' finance function
  • Timely and effective communication to key business partners, and appropriate escalation of issues to Finance Manager
  • Completion of special projects and ad-hoc requests

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, CPA, or other advanced degree or certification
  • Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects with varying deadlines
  • Strong project leadership and attention to detail
  • Aptitude to manage large datasets with the ability to present them in a simplified format
  • Prior experience analyzing, forecasting, and planning a P&L
  • Working knowledge of SAP, HFM/HP, IFS 7.5, and/or EPM Cloud
