Product Manager Web Tools/Applications


Description


The Product Manager for Web Tools/Applications oversees multiple aspects of our provisioning platform and infrastructure for internal stakeholders.


This includes driving the product vision, crafting requirements, working with UX/UI design, managing development for front and back end applications, as well as tracking reporting and analytics for product optimization.

You will collaborate with Design, Engineering, Service, Operations, Sales, and other various internal stakeholders to shape the local provisioning platform and toolsets for our Presence products.

You will gather requirements, translate them into product specifications and designs, and launch new product initiatives to improve the on-boarding experience.

You will maintain a strong focus on implementing user experience (UX) best practices to create systems and interfaces that save time and create delight with the end-user.

You will continuously analyze metrics to understand performance impacts and processes, making changes as necessary to deliver the maximum benefit to the stakeholders.

You will ensure products/features are created to specifications delivered on schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:


-Manage the product roadmap and ensure quarterly targets are met.

-Document, organize, and manage the implementation products, features and processes from inception to completion.

-Interface with internal stakeholders throughout the organization, to gather and document detailed product and architectural requirements.

-Collaborate closely with UX/UI design team to translate product requirements and specifications into interfaces.

-Create and manage user stories for engineering team within an Agile environment.

-Manage any integration work directly with engineering teams through to successful release.

-Serve as the primary point person for all related communication around product provisioning and fulfillment for both internal and external parties.

-Analyze and evaluate the analytics and performance of applications to drive product decisions.

-Offer insights and support into net new product features and functionality that influence the overall design of the product.

-Manage other product management tasks as assigned


Qualifications


Minimum requirements:

4-6 years of direct product management experience working within Agile product development teams.

Comfortable with both the front end (web/mobile) and back end aspects of gathering product requirements.

Deep understanding of user experience (UX) best practices and modern UI design.

Experience in developing toolsets and applications, including APIs, and product integration.

Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira including creating user stories for engineering teams.

Experience with product design, user experience design, and modern UI design a plus.

Knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Java, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript a plus.

Customer-centric focused, and experience in working in a highly matrixed organization.

Experience with monitoring tools and analytics products a big plus.

Ability to use data-driven and methodical approaches to decision making.

Bachelors Degree required. MBA a plus.

Strong communication skills to listen, engage, and present to numerous stakeholders including Sales, Service, and Product Development teams

Expert capabilities in MSFT Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
