PORT & HARBORS DIRECTOR for the City of Ketchikan, Alaska. The Port & Harbors Director reports directly to the City Manager and is responsible for the management and administration functions of both the Harbors, which has 6 boat Harbors and three (3) launch ramps and the Port which has four (4) panamax sized cruise ship berths.
: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in maritime management, business administration, public administration or related field. Eight (8) years of experience working in port and harbors or related marine industry including three (3) years of management and administrative responsibility. Possession of or ability to obtain a valid driver's license, a Company Security Officer certificate and a TWIC card.
: Regular full time; $8,137.12 - $10,480.82/month salary DOQ, plus benefits .
