Apple is looking for a hardworking Display Technologist who will be responsible for bringing innovations to Apple's outstanding display technology features that are achieved by the interplay between hardware and software. As a member of the Display Investigations team, the candidate will be participating in the forging of new Apple products with emerging display technologies. Candidates with strong problem-solving skills combined with deep interest in displays will be preferred.

Key Qualifications

  • Understanding in the basic principles of inorganic and organic light-emitting diode (LED/OLED) and operation
  • Hands-on experience on a wide spectrum of electrical and optical characterizations
  • Proven track record of problem-solving skills together with proactive growth mentalities
  • Basic programming skills for Python/Matlab are required

Description

This position is focusing on defining and developing a display feature that will help to adopt efficient and reliable new display technologies in future Apple products. It will also require the candidate, as an individual contributor, to work together with broader multidisciplinary teams to materialize innovative ideas into reality. The team features a collaborative environment with specialists from various fields such as optics, organic semiconductor physics, chemistry and display manufacturing.

Education & Experience

PhD or MS degree in Physics, Optics, Material Science or Electrical Engineering
