Description

Summary
Performs repetitive bench assembly, operates presses and performs quality inspection of parts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Assembly: Places parts in specified relationship to each other on the fixture, activates fixture, removes the part and places finished part in container. Work alone or with other members in order to assemble products
Machine Operation: Operates press by placing pre-formed part on the die, activates the press, removes the part and places the finished part in container.
Inspection: Visually identifies, inspects and sorts parts for conformance to customer needs. Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures
Packaging: Places parts in boxes so they are ready to ship
Keep a clean and tidy workspace
Works at different work stations as production needs require.
Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Mathematical Skills: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and decimals. English and metric.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
Multi-tasking abilities a MUST.
Attention to Detail
Team player, willing to help in whatever capacity needed to better the organization.
