Description

RESIDENT SERVICES COORDINATOR The Stockbridge Housing Authority (SHA) employs a Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) covering seven (7) housing developments in southern Berkshire County, serving 335 units of state assisted rental housing for seniors, the disabled, and families. We are in the 2nd year of a three (3) year grant position with the possibility for extension if program guidelines are adhered to. The RSC will assess needs of residents; identify programs, opportunities and services that will benefit the needs of the population served. Maintain data reporting requirements and collaborate with Housing Authority Staff and others in the community. Travel in the South County area is required. (Lee, Lenox, Sheffield and Great Barrington). Qualified Candidates are expected to have an Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Social Services, or at least a minimum of three years prior experience in social service programs, preferably residential, but all fields will be considered. Knowledge of community resources and service agencies and the ability to work with and motivate diverse resident populations is highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills required a must.
