The Mobile Apps & Messaging Platforms team is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with strong technical, problem solving and communication skills to ensure the quality of applications that millions of customers use every day. You will be part of a team that is responsible for global, best in class, iOS e-commerce applications including the Apple Store App. Responsibilities include the understanding and analyzing of requirements along with creating and executing test plans and test cases. Advanced iOS experience is required to provide clear, concise information to Engineering teams. You'll be interacting daily with teams that span across Apple including iOS software and hardware engineering, Apple Online Store and Apple Retail.
- - 7+ years experiences of Quality Assurance in testing Tablet/Mobile
- - 5+ years of experience in iOS testing and debugging using Charles Proxy
- - Deep understanding of software QA methodologies & practices
- - Knowledge of Client/Server Architecture
- - Mobile E-Commerce domain knowledge
- - Proven bug detection and regression skills
- - Demonstrate ability to be responsible for a complete functional area of an application or product
- - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- - Experience working with global teams in various locations, across QA and Engineering
- - Detail-oriented, analytical, methodical and creative problem solver committed to driving quality forward
DESCRIPTION Create test plans, develop manual/automated cross-functional tests, report bugs, and assess overall product quality Work with Agile team ensuring high quality delivery for each sprint and confirming to user story acceptance criteria Provide leadership in testing, troubleshooting, and implementing features through automation Work closely with engineers, project managers, and x-functional teams throughout software lifecycle in successfully delivering quality across projects Communicate detailed QA status to the team and report any critical issues in a timely manner Ability to analyze crash logs, backtraces, and assist engineers by utilizing debugging techniques We're looking for a hardworking and passionate person to join this amazing team, if you feel this is you, we'd love to hear from you.
Education & Experience
