The Health Sensing team develops ground breaking health sensors that are central to helping our customers live a healthier lifestyle. You will play a key role in specifying, developing, characterizing and validating health sensing features. You should be familiar with defining and quantifying sensor hardware specifications based on algorithm and use case requirements. You should be familiar with product integration and manufacturing technologies related to sensors.

Key Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience and proven track record in sensing system hardware engineering.
  • Experience in architecture, design, characterization, and validation of sensing systems that includes theory of operation, signal processing, fabrication, packaging and design trade-offs.
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience in physics, mechanical, electrical, or material science engineering


You will be developing and validating health sensors. You will be expected to identify, create, and document new sensing metrics. Work cross-functionally to identify critical performance parameters and validate them across all relevant use cases. Author and publish hardware specifications and other documentation needed to support the health sensor development process. - Knowledge of optoelectronic systems is preferred - Experience with high volume mass production is a plus - up to 10% travel required (this % may vary by team)

Education & Experience

- MS degree in engineering plus 2 years of relevant industry experience, or Bachelor degree in engineering plus minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
