In Apple Acoustics we work with obsessive attention to detail, directly contributing to products that ship to millions of people around the world! Apple's Acoustics Team is looking for a candidate to fill an open position in audio silicon design. The successful candidate will be performing component (ASIC) and product related work for audio power amplification, audio interfaces, and power conversation and regulation for audio power amplifiers. A successful candidate will have demonstrated a comprehensive, detailed understanding of amplifier design, analog silicon design and validation, and the current state of inter-ASIC audio interfacing. The candidate will be asked to make engineering contribution to enable industry-leading audio system performance as seen in Apple Products.

As part of Apple's Acoustics Team, the candidate will have responsibilities that include: Design and specification of audio power amplifiers Communication with and oversight of audio silicon suppliers, including maintaining a comprehensive understanding of relevant companies strengths and weaknesses Assist in development of interfaces between audio silicon components, with an agile ability to understand trade-offs between power, latency, and system integration flexibility

Education & Experience

Most of our engineers have advanced degrees in electrical engineering or an equivalent field, but if you've followed a different path to expertise in audio amplifier design, we still want to hear from you.
