Digital Sales Specialist - Entertainment

The primary responsibility of the Vertical Digital Sales Specialist is to generate new and incremental advertising revenue from businesses in the ever-growing Entertainment industry. This is accomplished by using a proven process of networking, prospecting, assessing needs and proposing the right solutions to local/regional/national businesses. We are looking for a key contributor to join this team and help build a new division backed by the resources of a best-in-class organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently meet/exceed digital revenue goals by securing and growing marketing campaigns
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge and understanding of all LOCALiQs marketing assets, digital products, and digital marketing services and be proficient in transferring the knowledge to prospects and clients
  • Effectively communicate with management to provide accurate revenue forecasts and market intelligence
  • Maintain the highest levels of personal and professional behavior

Knowledges, Skills, Abilities:

  • Knowledge of competitive media
  • Ability to prospect, present, close and grow marketing campaigns
  • Initiative and drive to succeed using entrepreneurial approach
  • Experience in successfully overcoming objections and achieving mutually beneficial results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and deliver effective presentations
  • Strong networking and community involvement skills
  • Eagerness to continuously learn and develop effective sales skills
  • Efficient and consistent time management and follow-up skills
  • Organized with attention for detail
  • Computer and software experience with MS Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred; or equivalent work experience in media-related business
  • Experience/passion for working in the Entertainment industry
  • Must have prior experience with digital marketing sales
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience in outside/premise sales
