Job Description

Position Summary

The Finance Manager, Software & Control and Intelligent Devices role is an integral position within the Global Analytics and Insights Finance organization.  This role reports into the Global Analytics & Insights Manager and is responsible for leading a team of Financial Analysts within the organization.  The mission of the Global Analytics and Insights organization is to provide business and functional partners with information to manage performance and support decision making, while driving operational excellence in the process. This person will own the standard reporting, analysis, and forecasting for the business/function and provide ad-hoc support as needed.

This person will also need to be a change leader as we continue to transform our reporting, analytics, and forecasting by leveraging new technologies, standardized processes, and centralized teams.

This person will oversee a large team of finance professionals and help to ensure their continued engagement and development.

Essential Functions:

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for all key financial metrics for the group
  • Ad-hoc reporting as required by business partners to better understand financial performance
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual causals for all key financial metrics for the group
  • Ensure the predictability of results by driving standard and effective quarterly forecasts for supported areas as well as future outlooks as required by Corporate Finance
  • Developing the key drivers of the supported organization's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) by working with other financial teams and business partners
  • Closely align with the other teams in the Global Analytics and Insights organization to drive improved and standardized global processes.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support in establishing, maintaining, and enforcing proper internal control policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Typically requires eight years' experience in Accounting or Finance (FP&A preferred)
  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or related
  • Must have a working knowledge of MS Office
  • MBA/CPA preferred but not required

SKEE (Skills, Knowledge, Education, Experience)

  • Proven business partner - results oriented, resourceful, service driven professional
  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Planning (HP), and SAP, preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

IPC (Information Processing Capability)

  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and communicate effectively to clearly present financial concepts to key stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a matrix organization and influence others who do not report directly to them
