Ventures Endurance, a division of Gannett/USA Today Network, is looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager to help facilitate the launching of a portion of close to 100 live and virtual endurance events, including road races, obstacle course events, and cycling. This person will be responsible for maintaining a line of communication between all branches of the organization to ensure all deadlines are being met and that all information presented to customers is consistently accurate. This person will be joining a full marketing team in a quickly growing company. We work hard but we have a lot of fun along the way!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing a portfolio of smaller endurance events on the marketing side to ensure all customer-facing communication including registration, marketing materials, and website all remain accurate by maintaining proper channels of communication between all departments of the event, including event directors, sponsors, coordinators, and staff
  • Create and manage a system to allow for streamlined communication across all departments of the organization for managed events
  • Using knowledge of event details to help support decision-making on marketing strategies of managed events
  • Help analyze event data to support key decision making
  • Tracking high-level event progress to ensure revenue and registration goals are being met and providing prompt insight if goals arent being met
  • Being a leader within the marketing team, relaying key information to the team, and actively participating in brainstorming sessions


  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in project management
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized, with exceptional time management skills
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus
  • Knowledge and/or passion of the endurance industry a plus, but not essential
