Description

Associate Scientist I – Perform cellular biologist job duties in the Kansas City, MO.  Work on and develop customized cellular biology projects.  Develop scientific methods and protocols. Perform mouse ES cells and human iPSC cells cultures and experiments.  Establish stable cell lines by CRISPR.  Establish primary mammalian and nonmammalian cell lines.  Perform 3D organoids derivation and culture.  Design and perform lentivirus production and transduction experiments.  Collect, record, organize and verify data.  Present data in charts, graphs and reports.  Requires: Bach degree in Biological Sciences field (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biophysics, Bioengineering, and Biological Chemistry); 5 yrs exp in a Biological Scientist position working/w cell cultures in a life sciences field, to include exp working/w establishing primary cell lines and developing related methods and protocols; and a demonstrated knowledge of: 3D organoids derivation, ES cells, human iPSC cells, and mouse embryo cultures.  Reference Job Code AS1521.
