Provide service and foster long-term relationships with customers before, during and after the sales process. Organize and communicate client information, draw conclusions and make recommendations for growing the client and reducing customer churn. Execute advertiser orders, exceed customer expectations.
This position includes the execution and fulfillment of all customer orders from finance to post-production. It is the secondary client contact post-close for all matters previous and contemporaneous to the close.
It demands a highly organized team player, one that can organize information into correspondence; prepare information for dissemination to others; organize and store records; respond to requests for information. The individual should have the capacity to keep up with developments in an area of technical expertise and use this knowledge to identify and resolve customer issues. The position requires interaction primarily via email, phone or fax.
It requires decisions on client relationships, knowledge of the market as well as product portfolio, company visionandpolicies.
Type/write, input insertion orders
Know and adhere to all published advertising deadlines
Prepare formal sales proposals
Work with external customers to gather adverting copy, proof advertisements, collect outstanding billing
Track sales promotions
Prepare individual and team sales reports
Assist with month end close
Troubleshoot internal and external problems
Generate sales leads for sales staff
Gather sales/demographic research from research department
College graduate or equivalent business/sales experience.
Client relationship building with account management.
Problem-solving, related to customer service/technical difficulties.
Advertising or marketing industry experience, or
1 -3 yearsof previous experience
