This is an opportunity to drive key software initiatives in the Graphics areas as well as integrating them with hardware roadmaps. - 5+ years of Engineering Management/Project Management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership on cross-functional projects across Hardware, Software or Silicon.
- Ability to quickly understand technical concepts.
- Experience with presenting to senior management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in managing projects in GPU / Graphics space.
- Understanding or experience of software development and validation of HW/pre/post silicon, is a plus.
Apple's Interactive Media Group (IMG) provides the media, graphics, and audio software foundation across all of Apple's innovative products, from iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, to Apple TV, iTunes, Beats, and Apple Music. As a key link between developers and our hardware, IMG drives the development of display, graphics drivers and higher layers of the software stack. As the GPU Engineering Project Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to driving, owning, and shipping all aspects of large, cross-functional efforts and feature across HW/SW for Graphics technology. You will partner with engineering & various cross-functional teams to build solid plans to track architecture, design, implementation and validation activities. Successful EPMs drive execution and provide regular executive level project updates, proactively assess risks, and help with mitigation plans. We maintain and influence a multi-year roadmap of HW/SW plans across GPU IP, and strive for continuous improvements and increased efficiency across program management processes.
Education & Experience
BS/MS (EE/CS/CE a plus)
