Sodexo is seeking an experienced, talented Catering Executive Chef 2 for Arkansas State University located in Jonesboro, AR. Arkansas State University (ASU) has a student body of over 14,000. We are seeking qualified candidates with previous campus food service experience, as well as high quality and volume skills. In dining services, we strive to meet the needs of a diverse campus community. This Catering Executive Chef will oversee all catering production on campus ranging from: high end VIP dinners, large banquets, Athletic Training Tables, arena catering for luxury suites, high end buffets for over 2500 guests, to plated dinners at the chancellor's residence.

Position Summary

Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
