Sodexo is seeking a Operation Manager 1 for Jefferson Health, Stratford Division, located in Stratford, New Jersey. Jefferson Health is an integrated healthcare delivery system providing a full continuum of healthcare services, ranging from acute-care hospitals to a broad spectrum of outpatient and wellness programs. Part of a multi-site healthcare provider, Jefferson Health New Jersey serves the residents of Camden, Burlington and Gloucester counties. This is a 2nd shift position, with some weekends and holidays.This position will report to a General Manager on - site.
The successful candidate will:
- evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Experience Program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits;

Responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all patient experience activities within the assigned unit.Must ensure that all personnel under his/her operational influence comply with all client, government, corporate and division policies and procedures.
Participates and adds value to hospital committees as necessary (i.e. Patient Satisfaction Committee, Nursing, Administration, HCAHPS Committee, etc.)
Working as the Patient Experience Manager, you are responsible for coordinating and directing all patient experience activities in collaboration with unit leadership in order to improve patient satisfaction scores.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies (CMS, JCAHO)
Maintains an awareness of the patient satisfaction updates and industry conditions including internal and external to the accounts and districts
Works closely with on-site management team to reach operational goals
Provides recognition for employee when programs are implemented with success
Compose patient satisfaction reports as needed to management.
Implement forms, data, and ensure standardization for departmental patient satisfaction operations success.
Provides management oversight for Environmental Services exempt and non-exempt level staff (client and/or Sodexo employees) in the delivery of Sodexo Environmental Service Programs. Ensures Environmental Service programs are in place and functioning according to design to consistently meet all company, client, and regulatory requirements.
-Establishes a safe work environment for clients, customers and staff by ensuring equipment safety and compliance with Sodexo safety and loss prevention programs and by providing safety-related training and equipment inventory and maintenance.
-Assumes GM responsibilities and authority in his or her absence
-Supervises day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring compliance to operating standards.
-Ensures compliance with application of all Sodexo Quality Assurance and Regulatory standards within the contractually agreed upon scope of services.
-Establish and/or adhere to defined operating standards, develops and implements quality improvements and ensures direct reports and staff adhere to the standards and expectations.
-Assists with Management of Environmental Service budget by ensuring full compliance to established operating standards, monitoring costs (e.g. labor, inventory, equipment, and material), and taking corrective action as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
