Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a 793-bed teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. This position will manage all patient dining operations including three patient kitchens, 1 VIP patient dining service, an infant formula room, and a large call center operation. Additionally, this Operations Manager will oversee the training and evaluation of the Dietetic Internship 4-week food service rotation for 12-14 interns a year. This manager will oversee 4 direct reports, 20 supervisors and approximately 94 front-line staff; and collaborate with/support another 10 department managers to ensure effective operations of the Retail, Catering, and Culinary areas.
Successful candidate should possess:
- a senior level understanding of Acute Care operations
- an excellent patient satisfaction skill set for success in this world class hospital/ research facility
- a data-driven skill set with the ability to create and utilize complex metrics in presentations and influence others in the decision-making process
This position requires someone with a background in nutrition or an RD certification.
