Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager for the University of Findlay located in Findlay, Ohio, a small city that is pleasant and progressive. Findlay has been designated a "dream town" by Demographics Daily, and it has been repeatedly named one of the top 10 "micropolitan" areas (small cities) in the U.S. by Site Selection magazine. Nearly 4,200 students from approximately 40 countries are enrolled at Findlay. Approximately 1,250 students live on campus in University housing. With an international student population of nearly 600, Findlay's campus offers global experiences to students from all over the world.

This is a long term relationship and strong networking. Managing a wonderful staff of both student and Sodexo employees. We are seeking candidates with strong leadership, quality food presentation skills, and proven interpersonal skills.

Day to day, this role will be responsible for front of house delivery of food and service in Henderson Dining Hall. Specific duties will include supervising front of the house operations as well as some food production staff, purchasing and receiving food and supplies, monitoring inventory and data entry. Reporting to the GM, this position will oversee up to 12 hourly associates and up to 20 student associates.

The successful candidate will:

  • have oversight of day-to-day operations;
  • deliver high quality food service;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • develop strategic plans;
  • create a positive environment; and/or
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met.

Position Summary

Provides supervision for multi-functional food service areas at an account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit through the implementation of Sodexo programs while executing against Standard Operating Procedures.
