Unit Description

Sodexo is currently seeking a General Manager 2 of Food Service for Bay Park Hospital. Bay Park Hospital in an 75 bed hospital located in Oregon, OH, part of the 13-hospital ProMedica Health System.

The General Manager 2 oversees the Nutrition Services department which features a modern cafe with 3 stations, digital monitors, and self-checkout POS system. Patients use At Your Request Room Service (AYR) to order meals. The facility houses a conference center including 7 conference rooms in which we provide extensive catering.

This postion oversees all nutrition services including patient dining (AYR room service), cafeteria, catering, and clinical. Position will be responsible for under 1 million in volume and 12 employees.

  • knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS, Retail Ranger, TMC)

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
