Sodexo is seeking a Dining Room / Catering Manager for Carlyle Place in Macon, (Central) Georgia. We are an upscale Continuing Care Retirement Community. Sodexo provides Five Star Dining Services, a Pub, and approximately 50 catered events per month.
$2,500 one-time Sign on Bonus
In your role, you manage multiple Independent Living Dining Rooms, on-site Pub, catering and special events. Position manages all human resource activity for Wait Staff including: interviews, hiring, training, schedules, performance evaluations, oversees 5 Star Dining systems and standards. Position reports to an Onsite Manager and assists with the resident billing process, the training of 25 employees, monitors labor hours, and purchases small wares & linens.
Your Skills Checklist for this position;
Some College / Trade School, Servsafe Certified
Front of the house restaurant dining & wait staff training experience
Skills to: interview, hire, train, schedule, evaluate a team of 25
Catering, food retail, cash handling/billing experience
Computer skills to work in excel, word & PowerPoint
Working knowledge of HACCP for regulatory compliance
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks is essential
Experience in retirement community / country club / restaurants is ideal
Typical schedule; between 10:00am - 8:00pm with alternating weekends.
