Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Retail Manager 3 for a high profile government facility located in Chantilly, VA.

The Retail Manager 3 will be responsible for the directing, planning and coordinating of all retail dining front of the house and back of the house systems to support food quality, customer service and strict adherence to company policy and procedures. The position will also oversee two National Brands - Starbucks and Subway.

The Retail Manager 3 will be responsible for the direction and leadership of an Executice Chef and 25+ hourly frontline staff while managing the client relationship.

Candidates must be a US citizen.

We are looking for candidates who will manage:

  • frontline staff;
  • department HACCP and food safety programs for regulatory compliance;
  • frontline training programs;
  • opening and closing the operation; and
  • daily operation standards.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience working and managing a team in a retail food operation
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • Successful customer service skills

Position Summary

Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly and supervisory food service workers, as well as other managers.
Key Duties
- Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
- Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.
