Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, major repair and improve blow molding equipment and associated supported systems by performing adjustments and maintenance on the plastic molding equipment and secondary equipment.


Perform mechanic skills troubleshooting, and repairing of facility and production machines by diagnosing the problems, replacing or repair parts, testing and making adjustments

· Prior experience with plastics, injection stretch blow molding is a plus

· Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude is a must.

· Ability to read and interpret schematics.

· Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service

· Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities

· Adjusting machines following pertinent quality work instructions.

· Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

· Communicate well with Quality techs and shift supervisors on quality issues

· Follows safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation and identifies and reports unsafe operations to Supervisor immediately

· Recommends improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety

· Pursues and contributes in goal of cost reductions

· Performs other duties as assigned


High school diploma or equivalent required but a technical certification in maintenance or related field preferred. Must have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with an understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics. Knowledge and or previous experience in blow molding, injection molding or extrusion molding is needed. Processing or troubleshooting of plastics equipment is essential.
