Description

Administers and enforces the zoning regulations and other regulations as directed; reviews all applications, which relate to the zoning regulations; performs inspections and investigates complaints related to zoning regulations. Works with GIS system and assists the customers with various questions related to the Planning and Development Department.

  

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

High School Diploma or equivalent, and training in law enforcement or a related field plus four years of responsible code enforcement experience, OR, an equivalent combination of experience substituting on the basis of one year of experience for each year of education.  Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.  Must obtain certification as a CT Zoning Enforcement Officer (CZEO) within one year of hire.
