Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 1 for Vail Health System in scenic Vail, CO. Vail Health offers a 56-bed hospital, 24/7 emergency care, helipad, urgent care clinics, cancer care, breast centers, cardiovascular services, surgery, childbirth, physical therapy, internal medicine, endocrinology, and more. As our Patient Services Manager you'll be able to use your customer service and hospitality skills to take care of our patients and guest needs. This position will work mostly a mid-shift schedule from Tuesday through Saturday. Targeted salary is $50,000 to $60,000.
The Patient Services Manager will:
- Oversee Sodexo's At Your Request (AYR) Patient Dining Program and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery;
- Oversee Food Service Regulatory and Compliance, and initiative quality improvement programs.
- Evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services Program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction;
- Collaborate with clinical, food service, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience;
- Perform tray assessments to ensure food quality and presentation and tray accuracy;
- Exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits; and/or
- Perform management functions that include direct supervision of 12 hourly dietary staff including employee development.
The ideal candidate:
- has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills in a hospitality setting, as well as the ability to work collaboratively;
- has an eye for details and a passion for a high level of customer service;
- has the ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate professional communication skills;
- ServSafe Certification is preferred or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
