Development Services Technician Applications are now being accepted for a Development Services Technician in the Development and Technical Services Division. This is a full time, non-exempt position with a starting wage of $17.83 - $20.50 per hour DOQ. Primary Duties: The Development Services Technician assists in processing and reviewing fiber optic permits and small cell site license submittals, in drafting and processing license agreements, easements, development agreements, and other right-of-way acquisition documents. Coordinates inspection testing, maintains critical databases, and facilitates preconstruction conferences. May also perform a variety of receptionist and clerical tasks as it relates to temporary work permits being done in the right-of-way. Qualifications: The successful candidate must have good knowledge of legal descriptions and terminology as it relates to real estate transactions, right-of-way process, and record management processes and programs. The incumbent must have the ability to read maps, plot plan, profiles, and construction drawings, and interpret policies and procedures accurately and effectively. Good knowledge of filing systems and general office practices and procedures is needed. Any combination of education, experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities are acceptable.
