DataMax Services, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and driven individual for an outstanding opportunity as a Project Coordinator in our Northbrook offices.
The Project Coordinator position is a key position within the DataMax Services’ Sales and Operations organizations. Project Coordinators are responsible for proactively leading and actively participating in all phases of a project’s lifecycle, including pricing, planning and execution, and of course, implementation.
DataMax Services’ Project Coordinators work closely with DataMax Services’ Project Managers, Sales Team, and third party technicians to successfully complete projects. They have the responsibility for preparing and maintaining all project related status reports and administrative functions of a given project. In essence, the Project Coordinator is a key role for not only DataMax Services, Inc. but also for the many clients we serve. The Project Coordinator position reports to DataMax Services’ Director of Field Services.
DataMax Services, Inc. is a leading supplier of products and services that support the Point of Sale (POS) marketplace to many of North America’s best known retailers. Our services include complete life-cycle management capabilities to keep our customer’s POS devices working at optimal effectiveness. These services are complemented with an extensive inventory of reconditioned and new POS products, along with global sourcing and placement capabilities.
Qualified candidates for the DataMax Services Project Coordinator position must possess the following:
- Two years of proven Project Coordinator experience
- Experience dealing with external, contracted personal resources a MUST
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure a MUST
- Knowledge of POS systems preferred
- Strong customer focus and a sense of urgency are essential
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong organization and computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite
