Wireless Technologies team is looking for hardworking engineer with experience developing secure software. The duties of this position will design, develop, debug baseband platform security software and frameworks to enable next generation cellular products. Security Software team is mainly responsible for Design, Develop, Integrate, Test & Debug Platform Security SW features, this group deals with common HW&SW platform infra security SW components.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven ability in security software development
  • Familiarity with cryptography and secure protocol

Description

Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems team is looking for highly motivated standout colleague and strong technical Software Engineer to work on our next generation products. As a member of our team, you will participate in the development of Baseband Platform solutions for Apple's cellular products. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with software development in one or more of Platform Security areas e.g. Secure Boot, FW loading, Crypto driver, Key attestation, Signature validation. The development includes all phases from concept definition, multi-functional meetings/discussions, HW/SW requirements, documentation, test definition, development, bringup, debugging and factory support. This position requires good communication skills as you will be working cross functionally throughout product development cycle from security requirements to design and mitigation. You will also collaborate with other security professionals and researchers across Apple to design security solutions for cellular products.

Education & Experience

Bachelor and/or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
