The WW Channel Interactive Technology team is looking for a Senior Manager of Platform Engineering to lead the team developing systems and tools that enable the next generation of in-store experiences. Your work will help to power entirely new experiences and capabilities and scale existing ones, such as DCOTA, Digital Catalog, and Digital Security. You will work with world-class teams in Cupertino, Austin, Paris, and London who have a passion for Engineering solutions and experiences that delight our customers around the world. As the leader of this critical function, your goal will be to strategize where the team needs to focus future development efforts, and work with the team to bring that vision to life. This position requires a leader who can do the following - deeply understand the customer, work very well cross-functionally, synthesize large amounts of complex technical information, pay attention to detail, and provide direction to a team responsible for multiple concurrent technical and

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years leading technical and strategic talent
  • 5+ years experience developing and scaling new business programs internationally
  • Track record of managing and growing teams designing, implementing, and operating highly scalable and reliable platforms and systems
  • Relevant experience across business development, technical process engineering, technical program/product management, ideally within the retail technology space
  • Deep experience negotiating business and technical terms across multiple internal and external partners
  • Experience managing new product and/or program introductions and must have ability to remain flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Proven leadership skills, with an ability to work with minimal supervision and inspire cross-functional team members
  • Experience identifying gaps in the requirements or testing processes and able to generate solutions for continuous improvement
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines and have flexibility to change course based on business needs or environmental conditions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

As Sr. Manager of Platform Engineering your responsibilities would entail: Coach and develop leaders across Engineering Program Management, Technical Product Management, QA Engineering, and Production Engineering Articulate your vision to the team and XF leadership Influence and implement standard methodologies in and outside of organization Implement program governance including standardized timelines and feature status updates Step in, as needed, to drive communication with Core OS and IS&T Engineering development teams Drive quality out of the Platform Development team including determining appropriate briefing process, kick-off, radar tracking and issue, and regression plans

Education & Experience

BS/BA degree required. MBA preferred
