Dominion Energy Credit Union has an immediate opening for a highly motivated person to assist with the credit union's marketing/business development efforts. This position works closely with our VP of marketing to create marketing strategies that achieve results. Duties include developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns; writing, editing, and producing newsletters, direct mail, email, digital ads, and other member communications; writing content for and managing website and social media; traveling to company locations in multi-state area; conducting presentations to large groups; administering our scholarship program; reconciling budget; general project management and related administrative tasks, and participation on our leadership team.
Successful candidates should have a degree in marketing, mass communications, or related field, and 2 years of related work experience. Candidate must be enthusiastic, energetic and creative, professional, and have strong public speaking, writing, and organizational skills. Must be a self-starter and problem-solver, be able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills required. Attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects and manage tight deadlines a must. Strong computer skills and experience in desktop publishing required. 25% out-of-town and overnight travel required.
