Description

Research associate molecular biologist (Irvine, CA) Conduct routine to complex experimental procedures within the scope of a project and/or diagnostic test development; basic molecular biology concepts, practices and procedures including cell culture, PCR, RT-PCR, sequencing, nucleic acid extraction, ELISA and use of fluorescence-based nucleic acid detection techniques. Requires at minimum master's in molecular, cellular and development biology and 6 months in job offered or 6 months as intern medical laboratory scientist performing next generation sequencing (NGS) testing, cytometry testing routine to specialized testing in blood banking, chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, and urinalysis.
