About the Position

The Office Assistant 3 (OA3) reports to the Secretary Supervisor of UR Facilities. You will be an integral part of the UR Facilities team and deliver outstanding customer service. In this position, you provide high quality administrative office support related to the maintenance of residential facilities supporting approximately 4,400 beds along with critical dining facilities. This position is part of the Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE) bargaining unit.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of increasingly responsible clerical experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Strong attention to accuracy, thoroughness, and detail.
  • Demonstrated outstanding front-line customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, handle multiple duties concurrently in an interruptive environment while servicing customers and maintaining a positive, warm, and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Proficient in utilizing the computer.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 to accurately construct documents, tables, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to perform complex and intricate sorting, filtering, compiling, and integrating to produce meaningful documents, manuals, publications, and reports.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative in completing work, solving problems, and carrying out job requirements and duties.
  • Possess outstanding and effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: including the ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of students, staff, and community members.
  • Experience in basic filing, organizing and archiving practices.
  • Experience in scheduling appointments and meetings including the securing locations and equipment reservations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in working with databases.
  • Experience in working with numerical data to create reports.
  • Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience.
  • Experience working with key management and inventory systems.


 New Hires typically start at $2,738/month with an excellent benefits package.
