We are looking for an outstanding Technical Program Manager who is interested in working closely with AppleCare partner teams. Technical Program Managers deliver process and analytic solutions that have a strategic impact for Apple. They drive decision automation/machine learning projects that allow Apple to execute with greater speed, control, efficiency, and scale. SDS Technical Program Managers accomplish this by providing leadership across functional teams to conceptualize, build, and deliver automated decision analytics. This requires continuous problem solving, rapid learning, and an innovative mentality. It also requires discipline, patience, and self-awareness as they work with a variety of business and engineering teams.

  • Inquisitiveness and a desire for continued self-improvement and development of new skills
  • +2 Years Experience as a program manager, product manager, and/or project manager, ideally working around data science & machine learning.
  • Understanding of how to build, manage, lead and inspire multi-department cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale international projects
  • Exceptional program and project management skills
  • Must be highly autonomous and comfortable working in an ambiguous, continually-changing environment
  • Able to respond and adapt to the needs of a highly matrixed organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to connect and develop strong partnerships
  • Discipline to work autonomously and independently make key decisions on projects

  • Translate business needs into initiatives with well-defined business requirements
  • Develop and prioritize analytic development projects
  • Manage business critical metrics
  • Provide day-to-day project management that includes: coordinating activities by internal teams and partners, tracking progress towards landmarks, continuously adapting plans to changes, and keeping teams and leadership updated on status
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop solutions that balance impact, cost, resourcing, timeline, success likelihood, and analytic risk
  • Lead regular communication with teammates, partners, and leadership and conducting periodic reviews with executive sponsors
