Job Description

Functional

  • Demonstrate thorough ability to lead the customer and project team through a DCS migration from project justification, alternative selection (including DCS platform comparison), project execution planning and total installed cost estimating, through commissioning and startup.

  • Ensure compliance to and assist in development of customer technical specifications for proposal work scopes.

  • Support the development of other engineers and technical resources.

  • Engage with customers to provide technical consultation and drive trusted partner relationship while maintaining direct and effective communication with customers. 

  • Adhere to MAVERICK quality programs and documentation requirements.

  • Provide the highest degree of quality necessary for the successful completion of each project and assure through high level quality assurance support of delivery team.

  • Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, efficiency tools, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.

  • Trains and directs the activities of some client personnel in the use of new techniques or equipment during a site start-up.

  • Maintain and develop frequent contact with counterparts to share 'best practices' across the company.

  • Provide technical assistance during customer presentations.

  • Assist proposal group in the development and preparation of project proposals, TIC/TCO estimates, execution plans, RACI Matrices and all other associated DCSNext deliverables.

  • Support sales specialists in customer sales activities.

Additional Job Description:

  • Typically requires 5+ years of experience in an engineering consulting role.

  • Excellent customer presentation skills.

  • Industry, control system background and software technology knowledge 

  • Strong customer relationship management skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various functional groups and peer business units.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Engineering

  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required
