Make a difference in the lives of foster youth!

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Clinical Services, the Clinician coordinates treatment planning and delivery for assigned youth. They provide individual and group therapy to youth ages 3-17.5 Clinicians take a leadership role within a multidisciplinary team and maintain professionalism in all areas including confidentiality. 

What we’re looking for:

  • License in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling with experience in strength-based family and children’s services
  • One year of postgraduate direct service delivery experience preferred
  • Experience with a strength-based, cognitive behavioral, and trauma-sensitive approach to treating troubled youth preferred
  • Strong proficiency with completing the administrative components of treatment (case documentation) required.
  • Ability to handle confidential material in a responsible manner
  • Ability to work well with people from many cultures and LGBTQ children
  • Bi-lingual - English-Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Ability to travel within NYC metro area as required 

What you’ll do

  • Carry a caseload between 18-25 youth
  • Administer required behavioral and mental health assessments for youth
  • Coordinate services for each youth in conjunction with a Case Planner
  • Provide therapy during traditional and non-traditional hours including weekends and evenings
  • Attend weekly clinical team and staffing meetings and weekly group therapy sessions
  • Provide timely and accurate record-keeping and documentation for all clinical activities 

Salary: $61,000 with Master's Degree, $63,500 with License
