SLCC Athletics is looking for someone to join our team! The Specialist 1 will assist the Athletic Administrative Assistant with clerical and other office duties.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Report to the Athletic Administrative Assistant.
Overall responsibilities would consist of but not limited to :
Assisting the Administrative Assistant with clerical and other office duties,
greet and answer questions for students and the public, answer phones, run errands around campus including getting signatures, paperwork, copies and mailings.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties Continued
High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Office skills, computer knowledge, customer service skills.
Civility and urbanity are essential attributes of the incumbent.
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities.
